Annegret Hoch began her collage cycles during a working stay in New York. For these series of works she uses colored papers, neon and translucent vinyl foils […] and pages of historical accounting ledgers […] The materials seem to undergo a process of transformation, losing their original meaning, to result in an almost lyrical melange of elements from the classical as well as her own vocabulary of forms and colors.

The series „ANNI“ was created upon invitation by gallery dr. julius, Berlin, and refers to the works of Anni Albers. Since 2021, the collages are assembled with stapler and sewing machine.
